Create coloured and textured fabrics to use as Fashion Textiles, backgrounds for Stitch, unique fabrics to your own design for Quilting and/or Accessories, scarves, bags etc.
On my courses students will learn how to interpret their own designs and decorate fabric using the following techniques (please click on individual techniques to see the details):
Silk Painting, Batik and Fabric Painting, Dyeing.
Fabric Bead making - Create unusual and original beads from fabricis, ribbons, threads, stitch, wire and glass beads.
Finished beads could be made into necklaces, bracelets or used to sew on clothes and accessories.
Felt Bead Making - Create unusual and original beads from felt. Embellish with stitch, wire and small coloured glass beads.
Finished beads could be made into necklaces, bracelets or used to decorate clothes and accessories
Courses are available for individuals and groups as one day, two day (weekend courses), and five day courses and workshops.
